Totem has been designed by Aetha Design for the purpose of exploring how videographers and photographers can film moving landscapes and subjects from a moving vehicle. The product provides a safe way of filming new angles for creatives.

The brief + our solution

STABLE FOOTAGE FROM A MOVING VEHICLE

Aetha Design spoke with a number of small production houses who all spoke about the same problems and logistical nightmares when filming bikes/runners/landscapes from a moving vehicle. We wanted to offer creatives a safe way which was cost effective which they could travel on a plane with.

Aetha Design spoke with a number of small production houses who all spoke about the same problems and logistical nightmares when filming bikes/runners/landscapes from a moving vehicle. We wanted to offer creatives a safe way which was cost effective which they could travel on a plane with.

Aetha received support from Innovate UK in the form of a small grant in October 2021 to help develop the product and the team are working with small production agencies in the UK to test the prototypes ahead of launch in September 2022.
