The mobile phone has become a place of endless scrolling, relentless notifications and day-stealing screen time. Lofone flips the narrative on the mobile phone by offering only the basics; no social media, no distractions, just calls, texts, and the essentials.
Blending stripped back functionality with a tech-rugged aesthetic we partnered with Lofone to design a phone that provides users with everything they need and nothing they don’t.

Lofone wanted a design that looked like no phone anyone had seen before, a way to set them apart in such a competitive landscape.
The final design direction places emphasis on durability and ruggedness.
The interchangeable polycarbonate shell and replaceable rubberised tactile buttons result in a phone that is built to last without compromising on aesthetics.
Featuring a low power E-Ink display, replaceable parts and battery; Lofone was designed from the ground up with sustainability in mind.
A phone that is not only good for your well-being, but also for the planet.
Using our in house prototyping facilities, we were able to produce numerous 1:1 scale prototypes for Lofone, allowing them to test shape, size, button placement and general ergonomics.
This allowed us to rapidly refine the design and ultimately produce a looks-like model for general testing
