Photogram AI approached AETHA in March 2020 with the concept to design and develop an AI powered camera that works with smartphones to shoot better content and share it instantly. From sketches to production, we partnered to develop a beautiful, light and ergonomic design that combines the power of a computer, the intelligence of AI and the craft of a camera.

Through numerous sketch and prototype iterations, together with Photogram we refined the design of Alice Camera down to the details. Our hands-on process helps us identify challenges early, test new ideas quickly, and to continuously improve.
Designed not just to look good but also feel good. The sharp lines and soft curves result in a striking modern, monolithic device that turns heads and invites interaction. Precision machined from recycled aluminium to create a unibody shell that feels solid in the hand. The design provided Photogram with a product with no upfront tooling costs, streamlining their route to market.
Alice launched on Indiegogo in March 2021, reaching its funding goal of $200,000. The strong backing from early supporters highlighted clear demand. Alice camera to date has received over $2.5m in external funding.
